Shipping
We are always happy to ship our candy to you or as a gift to family or friends. We take great care to package the treats, so they will arrive in great condition.
ORDER PROCESSING
We begin processing your order as soon as we receive it. It will usually ship the same or next day by UPS, except during December when it might take a little longer. When your order ships, it leaves our building at 4pm. That day does not count towards time in transit. Saturdays and Sundays do not count towards time in transit either. Orders received at the end of the week might be shipped the following Monday. Your credit card is processed when the order ships.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING
Our chocolates are very perishable, especially in warm weather. Summer Shipping is in effect April through October. The prices include an ice pack(s) and thermal wrap for insulation. Summer Ground is available for the following states: AL, AR, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, OK, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, WI, WV. For all other states, the options are Summer 2nd Day Air or Summer Next Day Air Saver.
COLD WEATHER SHIPPING
Winter Shipping is in effect November through March. The options are Winter Ground, Winter 3 Day Select, Winter 2nd Day Air, and Winter Next Day Air Saver. If an ice pack(s), thermal wrap, and upgraded shipping are necessary during the winter, we will communicate with you by email or phone.
UNEXPECTED WEATHER
When it is unseasonably warm or cold, we will make appropriate changes to your shipping and communicate with you by email or phone.
OTHER OPTIONS
If you need a shipping option that is not listed (i.e. Next Day Air AM or 2nd Day Air with Saturday delivery), please call us. If you would like to send something to Canada, please place your order by phone. We also offer DELIVERY in the cities of West Liberty, Ohio for $2.00, Bellefontaine, Ohio for $5.00 and Urbana, Ohio for $7.00 and IN-STORE-PICKUP for free. For pickup, please wait to receive an email stating your order is ready before you come into the store.
